This Privacy Policy explains how OPX Investment Management LLP, operator of the OPX™ ecosystem, may collect, use, process, store and disclose personal information when you access or use OPX, including OPX Trade, OPX Connect, OPX Rewards and OPX Wealth.

Virtual trading activity, simulated orders and positions, Trader Scores, rankings and performance metrics.

OPX Connect Information

Profile information, business interests, posts, requirements, connections and communications made available through OPX Connect.

Technical Information

IP address, device information, browser information, operating system, cookies, login history and security-related information.

Communications

Messages and communications sent to OPX Support, Compliance or other official OPX channels.

2 · How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • create and administer your OPX ID;
  • provide OPX products and services;
  • authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • conduct KYC, AML and fraud-prevention checks where applicable;
  • calculate Trader Scores, points and rankings;
  • administer campaigns and rewards;
  • process eligible payments or transactions;
  • personalise and improve the OPX experience;
  • provide customer support;
  • prevent fraud, manipulation and platform abuse;
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations;
  • improve OPX products, services and technology; and
  • communicate important account, security, campaign or product information.

3 · One OPX Ecosystem

OPX operates as an integrated ecosystem.

Information associated with your OPX ID may therefore be used across OPX Trade, OPX Connect, OPX Rewards and OPX Wealth where reasonably necessary to provide integrated functionality.

Appropriate access controls will be applied and information will be used for legitimate and disclosed purposes.

4 · Information Sharing

OPX may disclose information where necessary to:

  • authorised service providers;
  • identity-verification and KYC providers;
  • technology, hosting and cloud providers;
  • payment and banking partners;
  • professional advisers and auditors;
  • regulatory, governmental or law-enforcement authorities where legally required; and
  • other parties where the user has authorised the disclosure.

OPX does not sell personal information merely for third-party advertising purposes.

5 · Public Information

Information that users intentionally make public through OPX Connect, leaderboards, public profiles or similar features may be visible to other users or the public depending upon the relevant feature and privacy settings.

Users should not publish confidential, sensitive or private information in public areas of OPX.

OPX implements reasonable technical, administrative and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

No internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security.

Users remain responsible for protecting their account credentials, passwords and OTPs.

OPX may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide services;
  • maintain account and transaction records;
  • comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements;
  • prevent fraud;
  • resolve disputes; and
  • protect platform security.

Certain information may therefore remain stored after an account is closed where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
